MDS uses a compatibility awareness process called “Bucketology” when recommending the right bucket for the right machine. High Volume Skid Steer, Low Profile Skid Steer, High Volume Flat Back and Intimidator buckets are rated at heaped capacity. Tractor loader and telehandler buckets are rated at struck capacity with a 1.2 factor to calculate heaped. Bolt-on cutting edges are standard on Intimidator buckets and optional on all other buckets. MDS believes the bucket and or bucket/grapple combination should consume no more that 40% of the loaders lift capacity or 25% of the loaders static tipping capacity.
